TUBE301 series LED T8 Motion Sensor Tube serves as a quick, simple and safe replacement of fluorescent lamps without having to rewire the conventional control gear . The LED tube is equipped with an integrated microwave sensor with motion detection, allowing energy savings of up to 90 % compared to conventional fluorescent tubes. LEDTEK’s T8 Motion Sensor is ideally suited for applications such as storage rooms, corridors, walkways or stairwells, as well as parking garages.
TUBE301 series T8 Motion Sensor tube is equipped with an integrated digital microwave sensor with motion detection function. The sensor operates at 5.8 GHz, thanks to the microwave technology used, is also suitable for closed luminaires.
TUBE301 series T8 Motion the sensor tube detects no movement for five minutes(can be OEM by request), the LED tube is automatically dimmed from 100% to 20 %(can be OEM by request) light output. After a further stand-by time(can be OEM by request) without movement, the T8 Motion Sensor tube dim to extra low level brightness or can be set to switches off completely.

A model is for 2 step dimming and B model is for 3 step dimming.

1. How does the motion sensor in LED T8 tubes work?
The integrated microwave sensor operates at 5.8 GHz to detect movement in its coverage area. When motion is detected, the tube lights up at full brightness. If no motion is detected after the hold time, it dims to low brightness or switch off.
2. Do these motion-sensor LED tubes require rewiring or can they work with existing fluorescent ballasts?
Many models are designed as plug-and-play replacements and can work directly with existing conventional control gear (CCG) fluorescent fixtures. This allows installation without rewiring in most cases.
3. What is the detection range and maximum mounting height?
The typical detection range is up to 5 meters, depending on installation conditions. For best results, the recommended maximum mounting height is 5 meters.
4. How much energy can I save using motion-sensor LED tubes?
By automatically dimming or turning off when no motion is detected, these tubes can save up to 90% of the energy compared to fluorescent lamps that are always on.
5. Which applications are best suited for LED T8 motion-sensor tubes?
They are ideal for areas with intermittent occupancy, such as corridors, stairwells, storage rooms, parking garages, and other locations where lights do not need to stay on continuously.

MicroWave Motion Sensor Main Function Introduce
1) 3-Step Dimming Function
When motion is detected, the T8 micorwave sensor will switch on the LED light to 100% brightness.
After people left the detection area, the LED light will still remain 100% brightness within hold-time.(hold time can be customizd)
If the sensor detects no movement after hold-time, the LED tube is automatically dimmed from 100% to 20 %(can be customizd) light output.
After the last detection, and after the stand-by time(can be customizd) elapsed, the LED light will be switch off.
2) 2-Step Dimming Function
When motion is detected, the T8 micorwave sensor will switch on the LED tube to 100% brightness
After people left the detection area, the LED light will still remain 100% brightness within hold-time.(hold time can be customizd)
If the sensor detects no movement after hold-time, the LED tube is automatically dimmed from 100% to 20 %(can be customizd) light output.
